Risk Disclosure
Last updated July 20, 2026
This Risk Disclosure sets out the principal risks associated with using Silverline and investing through the Services. It does not describe every risk. You should read it in full, alongside our Terms of Service, before you invest, and you should only invest money you can afford to lose.
1. General investment risk
The value of investments can go down as well as up, and you may get back less than the amount you invested. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results, and there is no assurance that any investment objective will be achieved.
2. No guaranteed returns
Fixed return plans, plan rates, durations, and crypto yields describe the terms offered by Silverline. They are not a guarantee of profit and do not eliminate risk. Rates and terms may change, and the return you actually receive may differ from any illustration.
3. Cryptocurrency risk
Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile and can experience large and rapid price movements. The value of any cryptocurrency you hold, and any yield earned on it, may fall significantly. Crypto assets may also be affected by technological, security, liquidity, and regulatory risks, and are generally not covered by investor protection or deposit guarantee schemes.
4. Equity and market risk
The price of stocks, including Silverline's own listed stock, can fall as well as rise due to company performance, sector conditions, interest rates, economic events, and broader market sentiment. You may lose some or all of the money you invest in equities.
5. Investment plan risk
Capital allocated to a fixed return plan may be committed for the plan's term. Early withdrawal, where permitted, may reduce or forfeit accrued returns and may be subject to a penalty. The return of your capital at maturity depends on Silverline meeting its obligations under the plan terms.
6. Liquidity risk
You may not always be able to access, sell, or withdraw your investments immediately or at a price you consider fair. Processing times, market conditions, plan terms, and verification requirements can all affect how quickly you can access your funds.
7. No financial advice
Nothing provided through the Services constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, or a personal recommendation. We do not assess whether an investment is suitable or appropriate for your individual circumstances. You should carry out your own research and consider seeking advice from an independent, licensed professional.
8. Regulatory and tax risk
The legal and regulatory treatment of crypto assets, securities, and investment products can change and may differ by jurisdiction. Such changes may affect the value, availability, or tax treatment of your investments. You are responsible for understanding and meeting your own tax obligations.
9. Suitability and affordability
Before investing, consider your financial situation, investment objectives, time horizon, and tolerance for risk. Never invest money you cannot afford to lose, and make sure you fully understand a product and its risks before committing any capital.
10. Acknowledgement
By using the Services and investing through Silverline, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure and that you accept the risks described in it.
